I rent on Gabriola.  Can I be a member?

Yes!  You do not need to own property on Gabriola to be a member, but your permanent residence must be on Gabriola.

My family visit often.  Can they be members?

Family may be members if their permanent residence is Gabriola.  Family may also be members if they co-own a property that they visit seasonally on Gabriola, or if they live permanently with the owner of a seasonal property on Gabriola.  Two adults and children under 19 may be included in the base membership.  Additional family members nineteen (19) or older may be included for $5 per person.

Can I drop off my membership?

Sorry, no.  The Ambulance Society does not have a place to drop off memberships. Please mail membership applications with payment to Box 162, Gabriola, BC  V0R 1X0 or email to GabriolaAmbulanceSociety@shaw.ca

Do I need to fill out a membership application every year?

Yes.  An application for membership has two parts:  payment and the application form.  The application confirms (1) your contact information (address, phone number, etc.), (2) you are a permanent resident of Gabriola, and very important, (3) the family members living in your home. 

My printer isn't working.  Where can I get an application form?

You can pick up a paper application form at the Post Office, Island Pharmacy, or either doctor's office.

I don't think I am receiving your emails.  What is wrong?  

Please make sure you have our email address in your Address Book to avoid the emails we send going into your Junk Folder.
